Belleville Diocese Celebrates 125 Years (1887-2012):

On January 15, the Belleville Diocese will begin "Fanning the Flame" of faith by a yearlong spiritual renewal for all "to learn their faith, to love their faith and to live their faith." Fanning the Flame will take us through the 36 chapters of the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults (USCCA). Each lesson will be explored and presented by Chapter Guides who will share their lesson insights in many different ways. Individuals may join at any time and follow along in a way that best meets their schedule. Learn more on our web site (link coming soon), or on the Diocese of Belleville Fanning the Flame web site.

2011 Giving Statements: Parish members' 2011 giving statements are now available at the back of the church.

Volunteers Needed for Parish Council: The parish council is seeking volunteers to serve on the parish council. We need one man and one woman to serve on the parish council for a three-year term. We would like to thank Bill Richards and Sarah Schupp for their dedicated service to the St. Rose community as Council Members. Elections will be held January 28 and 29. Please contact Caroline Korte, Len Maggio, or any parish council member if you are interested in serving.

Parish Office Hours: The parish office will begin closing at 12:00 noon. With most of the renovations completed, the extra hours are no longer necessary. Thus we are returning to the original hours of 8:00 AM - 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday.

Offering Envelopes: 2012 Offering envelopes are available for pick-up at the back of the church. If you don't have envelopes and would like a set, please contact Sabrina at the parish office.

2012 Calendars: St. Rose of Lima calendars for 2012 are now available on the table in the back. This year’s calendar is entitled Rejoice O Earth! Don’t forget to pick yours up today!

Aluminum Cans: Please place your aluminum cans in the bins behind the parish center. All proceeds go to Fr. Mujule's home parish in Uganda.
