Announcements and Updates:

• St. Rose CYO will host a COMMUNITY lunch on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7th, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to this meal; please invite anyone you know who may need or desire a meal.  If you would like to donate a dessert for the lunch, there is a sign up sheet in the back of the church.

• This is just a reminder that on February 7, our subscription renewal for The Messenger will be due.  We encourage anyone who doesn’t receive this publication to consider a subscription.  And if you already receive it, then just renew it, to avoid an interruption in your subscription.

• The contribution summaries for 2009 are completed and may now be picked up in the back of the church.  If you haven't already picked up your 2010 offering envelopes please do so.  The children's offering envelopes are now available.

• Year for Priests:  Pope Benedict XVI has declared a Year for Priests, beginning June 19, 2009.  For more information, please see the recent bulletin insert, or this article from Our Sunday Visitor.

• January Community Collections:
  C.O.P.E.:  pancake mix and syrup
  Guardian Family Services:  paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex

• Please place your aluminum cans in the bins behind the parish center.  They are turned in weekly and the proceeds go to Father Mujule's home parish in Uganda.
