• Volunteers are needed for Meals on Wheels for the week of July 13th – 19th.  If you are available to deliver meals that week, please sign up on the sheet posted in the back of the church.  It only takes approximately 30 minutes each day and is a valuable outreach service in our community.

• Pope Benedict XVI has declared a Year for Priests, beginning June 19, 2009.  For more information, please see the recent bulletin insert, or this article from Our Sunday Visitor.

• Our parish would like to use e-mail as one way to communicate with our parish members.  This would relay information about parish news and activities sooner than bulletins alone.  Your e-mail address is needed.  Please provide your e-mail and any updates to the directory (phone numbers, etc.) to the office by completing a parish directory update form which is located at the back of the church.  Thank you.

• June Community Collections:
  C.O.P.E.:  Cans of chili
  Guardian Family Services:  Trash bags (kitchen size and large)

• Please place your aluminum cans in the bins behind the parish center.  They are turned in weekly and the proceeds go to Father Mujule's home parish in Uganda.
  NOTE:  We appreciate everyone's donations of aluminum cans.  We must ask that they cans be rinsed before bagged to eliminate the spillage that attracts bugs.  This time of year the bugs are an issue.  Also, if you have a party at the Parish Center, please separate the cans from the rest of the trash as we will not sort through the bags to find the recyclables.  Thank you.
